I've started to create home made humour cards. The obvious line eg;
'If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?'
has been avoided, with one that makes you think about your feet.
True love, after all, is a warm foot job on a cold night.

A tot of Japanese Sake after scrambled egg on toast was not a good idea this morning. Swotting up for the never ending film quiz might be more useful. A most miserable, dreary, dull and wet day is lurking outside.

Breakfast this morning is different to other mornings, in honour of
the wine I've been hunting for ages and found, after driving 56 miles
yesterday. I had to find a bottle to discover how old vine wine tasted. Sipped with grilled pork sausages on toast (from Waitrose).
Unusually delicious. After brekkie, it's off to my favourite female
barber for a quick cropping session.

One balloon deserves another.

The morning after the night before. The message on the badge should be reversed - 'get your hands on my body'. That's more like it on Mondays.

Scanned the papers this morning but couldn't find any reports on
last night's performance.

A very interesting and enjoyable evening.46 ladies attended and
every seat was taken. They could appreciate my aftershave combination
on the back row. And my Versace film director's jacket on the front row.

This evening I've been invited to give a talk about film (and life)
to the Harlequins Group. Ladies only audience. I wonder what they'll
force out of me tonight. I'll be choosing my aftershave carefully.

Best thing to do this morning is to slip into the bath with Mrs.Jones. Lots going on today, best to smell nice.

Ah bliss. Decided on early dinner instead of late supper. The
lamb fell off the bone after nearly 5hrs in the crockpot.

For reasons unknown, since reading this book, many years ago, a short sentence in it has remained, indelibly imprinted in my mind.
The thought sprang to mind again, this wet and windy Sunday morning.
